With over 20 years of experience as a licensed social worker, Carolyn specializes in trauma-informed care across mental health, child welfare, addiction recovery, aging, and special education. She supports children, adults, families, and older adults through compassionate, evidence-based therapy that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting change.

Carolyn uses a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, integrating Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients manage mental health challenges, developmental delays, substance use concerns, and the emotional transitions that come with aging.

She creates a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel understood and empowered. In addition to therapy, Carolyn provides coaching, advocacy, parenting support, and adoption support—especially for multiracial adoptive families navigating identity and attachment. She also guides families through the special education process, helping them access resources and understand their rights.

Rooted in empathy and respect, Carolyn is committed to helping each person move toward greater wellness, confidence, and fulfillment.
